Sadly, this is my last blog of broadcast tech 1. This class has been very fun and one of my favorite classes this year. My favorite parts jave been the news package because you got to film outside of class and put everything you did in class together. I would change my audio problems, it was really my achilles heal the whole semester. I am still on fence about doing broadcast tech 2 next semester, but if I don't I will definitaly take it next year as a sophmore..
Ram days are one of the many hot button issues here at Ladue high School. I interviewed Ms. Gutchewsky on her opinion. She gave me a lot of very good answers that I used. She convinced me and I think she will convince you too.
This Project was an informational peice about this years ice hockey team but also about the past. I wanted to do something about a past player so i had it narrowed down to a couple of player but in the end i had more photos of My brother playing then anyone else icould use.I interviewed senior Sam Shevitz, and his brother, a former player on the team, about their experiance playing for Ladue.
I watched the veteran clip and the middle school football clip. The football clip was a feel good story and i really liked it. it made me have hope for this world. The veteran was a good story too. He fought in the Gulf war and a;so proposed to his Wife via mail.
I interviewed Ms. Gutchewsky. I wanted to talk about an issue that was really important to the whole school. I know Ms. Gutchewsky was knowledgeable on the topic of Ram days because I have talked about it before with her. The first time I interviewed her went perfectly except that I didn't use a microphone so I had to reshoot the whole thing but it went just as well as the first one.
For the 6 word story project we had to pick 6 words that form a story. The 6 words I choose were, "Strangers, friends, best friends, lovers, strangers". I choose these because it shows the sad reality of love . You become so happy and love someone so much and then they could just leave and you would have to pretend like you aren't hurting or that you don't miss them. I would definitely do this project again, it was a lot of fun.
